Mercedes-Benz Dealer group, Rygor Commercials is delighted to announce that its brand-new truck site at The Camgate Centre in Stanwell is now open.

The Dealer’s new truck-dedicated facility offers almost 30,000sq ft of space across the site, with ample parking and space for truck and trailer manoeuvrability, perfect for truck customers in this busy area of the country. The facility includes 16 workshop truck bays which boast top of the range, fully automated safety systems, as well as two pits, maximising vehicle uptime due to more workshop availability. The site has also been fitted with full vehicle test preparation equipment.

Conveniently located just 3.5miles from the M25 and less than 5miles from the M4, the Rygor Heathrow Truck Centre provides customers with an easily accessible facility, dedicated to their specific needs. What’s more, Rygor’s new Truck Centre is located only a mile down the road from the Dealer’s existing Heathrow branch, which is now a dedicated Mercedes-Benz Vans Centre, which will offer customers a fantastic range of Approved Used Mercedes-Benz Vans to view on site, as well as new vehicle sales and first rate aftersales care.

Heading up the aftersales team at the new site will be parts manager, Emma Joyce and service manager, Chris Baker, who’s teams will work closely together to deliver exemplary customer service.

Emma, who was previously parts manager at one of Rygor’s dedicated fleet workshops is looking forward to what the new site holds for customers and the team. “I am genuinely super excited about this new role. I love the Heathrow area and the fast-paced nature of this part of the country. I have worked in parts since the beginning of my career, starting out as a parts apprentice at 15 years old. To get to lead the parts team at a brand-new site like Rygor Heathrow Truck Centre is my absolute dream job and a really great opportunity for me professionally. Our service and parts team members will work closely together for our customers, to ensure we deliver a level of customer service which truly sets standards.

“The new site will offer our truck customers a professional and welcoming environment, dedicated to maximising vehicle uptime. I have worked at Rygor for the past 15 years and have loved working for the company as well as the Mercedes-Benz brand. Rygor has always been really good to me and it is great to be invested in. I can’t wait to do the business and our customers proud at our new Truck Centre,” Emma added.

Chris Baker has been promoted from workshop manager at the existing Heathrow site into his new role and he is looking forward to leading his team at this new facility. Chris said: “I think customers can expect the focus to really be on their needs and the specific requirements truck customers have. We will maximise vehicle uptime and the bigger workshop, tacho rollers and ATF lanes in-house will enhance the experience for our truck customers. The new truck centre is also going to be a great site for our staff too, most of whom will be moving across from our existing branch, so customers will see some familiar, friendly faces.”

John Keogh, Rygor truck dealer principal said: “For businesses across the UK, 2020 has been a challenging year. Throughout it all, our team has been strong, supportive and dedicated to the Rygor business and being able to open this brand-new truck centre is a testament to everyone’s hard work in these difficult times. It has been a real pleasure to be able to promote several of our incredible team members into these roles at the new Truck Centre. At Rygor we always strive to support, progress, and promote our team wherever we can, and we wish Emma and Chris especially, all the very best in their roles.

“We are thrilled that the doors are now open, and we look forward to welcoming customers to our site, where we have implemented considered health and safety measures for the benefit of our team and visitors to our branch. We look forward to holding an official launch event in October, where we can safely celebrate this incredible success and welcome both new and familiar faces to our site,” John added.
