Based in historic Bath, the company has a client portfolio which is dominated by ‘blue chip’ businesses and public bodies located throughout central and southern England, although it also works for high worth individuals. Joint Managing Directors Ashley Collins and his wife Donna founded their company 22 years ago. Son Myles also works for the family business as a decorator.
Mr Collins bought his first Mercedes-Benz Vito from Rygor in 2004. “We’ve been running them ever since,” he explained. “The Vito is the ideal size for us, and we have versions in different lengths in which our decorators can carry their brushes, paints, wallpapers, and other equipment without it rattling around.

The subject of a finance lease agreement with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services, the latest arrivals have replaced older vehicles which Ashley Collins has stood down. They are the first vans to wear the company’s new livery, which was designed and applied by Millard Signs & Graphics, of Corsham.
Both are 114 CDI models – one is a Long-bodied variant, the other a Compact which is driven by Mr Collins himself, and is particularly smart thanks to its colour-coded bumpers.
The 114 CDI’s advanced, 2.1-litre engine offers outstanding fuel economy of up to 44.1 mpg in the combined cycle. Its 136 hp output is transmitted to the road via the rear wheels – other Vito variants are available with front-wheel drive.
Also key to the appeal of Mercedes-Benz vans for Mr Collins is the support his company receives from Rygor Commercials. The Dealer maintains Ashley Collins’ vehicles under Mercedes-Benz Service Plans at its 24-hour workshop in Chilcompton.
