Key Purpose of the Role:
To research your assigned area, identify contacts and develop new business opportunities to achieve/exceed van sales targets across the Mercedes-Benz range. This includes proactively approaching prospect customers with a researched understanding of their business and present them with appropriate solutions based on our Mercedes Benz products. To have completed sales training, ideally in the light commercial vehicle industry, and has relevant work experience. Must understand basic sales processes – prospecting through to closing business. The ideal candidate will be career orientated and understand the importance of the role, using a positive attitude to motivate themselves to hit/exceed sales targets. Database management packages (preferably ADP, CRM)

We are recruiting for an experienced Media Sales and Marketing Executive to join our ever-growing business to represent our Sales Teams.
Your main role will be to manage incoming leads via telephone, online, email and EMS.  You’ll also be working alongside our marketing team to promote Mercedes-Benz used vans through different platforms across Rygor.

Skills and experience for this role;

  • Basic understanding of the sales process
  • An understanding of advertising platforms for commercial vehicles including; Autotrader, Ebay, Exchage etc.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Keen eye for advertising and understanding of what makes a good advert

  • Previous van or / and commercial vehicle experience

Rygor are recruiting for a Business Development Support Executive to join our fast paced and successful dealership in Oxford. This brand-new role will be to support the Business Development team with processing and progressing of vehicle orders and quotations.

As the Business Development Support Executive, you will need to have effective organising and communication skills to support both the team and our customers.

  • Strong IT skills specifically Microsoft
  • Strong communication skills – telephone experience / customer service skills

Purpose of the role:

To represent the Rygor sales team in a positive, professional manner, covering the end-to-end used lcv customer journey and related sales process across all online, telephone, e mail and walk in opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maximising Used LCV Sales with associated finance and accessories.
  • Liaison with affiliate sites to achieve individual and overall targets.
  • Document and process Incoming lead management (online, telephone, email, EMS, walk in)
  • Predictive Marketing second wave calls, subject to GDPR guidelines
  • Visual Health Check deferred work follow-ups
  • Retention/maturing contract follow ups (both finance and service)
  • Test drive bookings
  • Promotion of all Connectivity options with Mercedes-Benz vehicles
  • Imaging / video of used vehicles when required, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Hold online and face-to-face sales presentations, providing customers with information and advice on Mercedes-Benz used commercial vehicles, equipment, and accessories
  • Work with Marketing to promote vehicles & Rygor in the most effective way
  • Conclude sales contracts making required amendments, manage orders and supervise order processing
  • Be pro-active in understanding your sales area, follow-up all contacts; process and manage your customer database ensuring it is up to date at all times
  • Update and improve product knowledge, staying up to date with Mercedes-Benz and competitor’s offers
  • Respond to all enquiries in a timely and professional manner, advising visitors on Mercedes-Benz vehicles, equipment, prices, conditions and technical data
  • Assist analysis of online advert performance and advise necessary updates to improve views and enquiries
  • Manage and respond to the live chat software on our various websites when required.
  • Work with the Finance & Insurance team to promote attractive weekly/monthly prices using Mercedes-Benz finance terms
  • Achieve/exceed individual sales targets
  • Maintain awareness of competitor’s offers, including promotional activity and products
  • Agree with customers when the vehicle is to be handed over (date, delivery etc.), handover vehicle and organise customer introductions to the vehicle

Skills and Experience:

The ideal Mercedes-Benz Used Van Sales Executive will have completed sales training in the light commercial vehicle industry, and has relevant direct work experience, including:

  • Previous commercial vehicle sales experience
  • An understanding of online used advertising platforms for commercial vehicles, including, but not limited to Autotrader, Exchange & Mart & eBay
  • Experience of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Sales Executives must be articulate, able to argue logically and clearly, show they hold customers in high esteem, demonstrate they are reliable, honest and trustworthy
  • Must understand basic sales processes – prospecting through to closing business
  • Have confident IT skills and be able to use both Internet systems and Microsoft Windows applications
