Rygor Group is thrilled to announce that it is a Dealer Sponsor for the Women in Motor Industry Awards 2025, a celebration of the incredible women shaping the future of the automotive world.

On 4 December, inspiring women from across the industry will gather at the Marriott Grosvenor Square to recognise achievements, share experiences, and champion the power of inclusion, innovation, and empowerment.

These awards shine a spotlight on the trailblazers, leaders and rising stars who are redefining what it means to work in automotive, and Rygor is honoured to support such a meaningful initiative.

One of Rygor’s key missions is to attract more women to the automotive industry and remove the historic barriers that may have discouraged female talent from pursuing careers in this field. Thanks to ongoing initiatives, Rygor saw a 64% increase in female job applicants between 2023 and 2024.

From apprenticeships to leadership, women across the Rygor Group are driving positive change and helping to shape a more inclusive future. Their passion and impact have not gone unnoticed, with four exceptional women from Rygor nominated across different award categories at this year’s Women in Motor Industry Awards.

Emily Walsh, People & Culture Executive, has been nominated in the Rising Star category, reflecting her passion for people and her growing influence within the business. Emma Joyce, Area Parts Manager, is recognised in the OEM and Dealer Advocate for Change category for her commitment to driving progress and fostering collaboration across the network. Samantha Bettridge, People Relations Manager, has been nominated for both the Unsung Hero and OEM and Dealer Advocate for Change awards, celebrating her behind-the-scenes contributions that make a tangible difference to Rygor’s culture. Finally, Kate Ruberry-Shoemack, Director of People & Communication, is a dual nominee in the Dealer Inspirational Leader of the Year and Dealer Woman of the Year categories, acknowledging her exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to empowering others.

Speaking about her recognition, Emma Joyce said: “It’s an honour to be recognised among so many incredible women who are making a real difference in our industry. At Rygor, I’ve had the opportunity to grow and contribute to a culture that truly values inclusion and celebrates every individual’s potential. I hope our stories inspire more women to see the automotive world as a place where they can thrive.”

Their nominations reflect the talent, dedication and leadership that women bring to every part of our business, from people and culture to operations and strategy.

Here’s to recognising the incredible women who make a difference every day and continue to inspire the next generation of automotive talent, and as proud sponsors of the Women in Motor Industry Awards, we remain committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive, be heard and succeed.
