Rygor Group is proud to announce that it has once again been officially recognised as a Great Place to Work, marking the fourth consecutive year the business has earned this prestigious certification. This achievement reflects the continued commitment across the organisation to creating a Rewarding, Reliable and Respectful place to work.
The certification is based on direct feedback from team members, and this year’s results were especially encouraging. Employees highlighted their pride in being part of the Rygor team, their appreciation for the company’s values and rewards, and the strong sense of camaraderie across departments.
Rygor’s managing director, John Keogh, commented, “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work for the fourth year running. It’s a reflection of the passion and dedication our team brings every day. Whilst it is always great to hear the positive feedback from our team, we don’t take part in this national survey just to hear the good points. The survey feedback also includes constructive ideas to help the business continue to evolve and our team’s engagement and shared commitment to growth is brilliant to see. In fact, over the past few years, we have brought in some of our team’s favourite benefits and recognition schemes based on this survey’s feedback, including birthday leave and enhanced maternity and paternity pay.”
In addition to this national accolade, Rygor has welcomed eight new apprentices to the business this academic year, further demonstrating its commitment to nurturing future talent and providing meaningful career pathways. This month, the Group also celebrates the outstanding achievements of four team members who have been announced as finalists for the Motor Trader Women in Automotive Awards 2025.
Rygor’s director of people and communication, and finalist at the Motor Trader Women in Automotive Awards, Kate Ruberry-Shoemack, said: “I’m incredibly proud to be named a finalist at the inaugural awards which will no doubt be a brilliant event, celebrating the trailblazing women shaping the future of our industry. To be recognised alongside my fantastic colleagues, Emily Walsh, Samantha Bettridge and Emma Joyce is incredible and all these women are absolute superstars. This recognition isn’t just personal; it’s a reflection of the amazing work we do at Rygor to champion women in automotive. From creating inclusive career pathways to actively supporting development and leadership, we continue to push boundaries and open doors for women across the sector and have been proud to see a significant increase in women applying for roles at our company year on year.”
Rygor Group, which includes Rygor Auto, Rygor Plant, Rygor Service Solutions and Rygor Land Systems remains committed to listening to its team, acting on feedback, and continuing to build a culture that supports both personal and professional success.
