Workshop/Service

We are committed to investing in your career and skill set, so when you join our technical team you will benefit from extensive Mercedes-Benz training. At Rygor, we also put all our technicians through the IRTEC Inspection Accreditation, part of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers. An IRTEC Accreditation certifies the skills and safety of technicians working in road transport, indicating an ability of the highest calibre.

Hours/Shift: Night shift 2pm-10pm and day shift 6am – 2.30pm

Qualifications: Level 3 qualified, Class 1 license ideal

Role objective: To keep customer vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant workmanship.

Hours/Shift: Rotating shifts 06:00-14:00 wk1 and 14:00-22:00 plus Saturday 07:00-13:00 wk2

Qualifications: Level 3 qualified

Role objective: To keep customer vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant workmanship.

Hours/Shift: 4 on, 4 off. 6pm-6am.

Qualifications: Class 1 HGV license and level 3 qualified

Role objective: To keep customer vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant workmanship.

Role & Training information: This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wishes to work alongside training, with plenty of support and a wealth of industry knowledge to draw on. Full training, mentoring and support programme given. Candidate needs basic IT skills, strong team work ethic and self motivation. Competitive salary, which will rise at the end of 4 years training.

Hours: 07:30 - 17:00 Monday-Friday, Saturdays on rota

Extra Information: Bonuses will be paid on achieving monthly site targets

Role objective: We are looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Controller/Administrator to act as a point of liaison between the workshop and the front desk, to manage workload, and assist in providing excellent levels of customer service.

This role is not under active recruitment but will 'go live' when Rygor moves into its newest site, later in 2021/early 2022. We are currently seeking to interview candidates who understand this role is not available immediately, but who are interested in applying for this exciting future opportunity.

Start date: Immediate start

Purpose of role:

  • Independently managing and developing a customer-orientated and profitable department. This includes delivering a high level of customer satisfaction and high yields for the department, as well as planning, controlling and monitoring processes for the service department and customer services area.
  • Managing and developing employees by leading and inspiring the team. Looking after the wellbeing and progression of team members through regular appraisals and managing the recruitment process.
  • It is essential to take a structured approach to this role, utilising forward planning to ensure team success and achievement of KPIs, financial performance and manufacture targets. Dedicated to enforcing company health and safety practices and policies to ensure everyone is safe, compliant and legal and carrying out their roles to the highest standards.
  • Being responsible for and ensuring all company processes, policies and standards are met, and legal regulations are complied with.

Experience and skills: Previously a service manager and ideally with commercial vehicle experience. Technical understanding a real benefit, as this is good for the workshop.

  • Motor industry experience, ideally in an After Sales position at management level.
  • With an established track record in sales and profit delivery, a Mercedes-Benz Service Manager has extensive knowledge of the operational running of a workshop and business administration. Must have a thorough knowledge of customer and market analysis, marketing initiatives and customer satisfaction.
  • Must be experienced in people management, particularly in terms of achievement through teams. Leadership style should be highly visible and hands on.
  • Enthusiasm and continuously improve product knowledge of self and others. Desire to achieve the highest standard of personalised customer care.
  • Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment.
  • IT literate.

Hours/ shift: 45 per week between Monday to Friday on an alternating shift basis; week one 7.00 am to 4.00 pm and week two 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid break, and alternating Saturdays 7:30am to 1:30pm, however flexibility may be required in exceptional circumstances.

Extra information: Annual holidays are 23 days per year (January to December) which must be taken before end December. Holidays cannot be carried over. After 5 completed years of service your leave entitlement will increase 1 day per year for 5 years, maximising at 28 days.

Administration bonus available.


Parts

Purpose of role:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction and meet customer expectations (CSI)
  • Ensure the accurate and timely execution of all activities, providing a service to customers and the Service Department.
  • Check GDPR preferences and record customer details in Kerridge/Autoline, to help the business provide exemplary service and communication to our customers.
  • Control and manage workshop WIP by working together with the service department
  • Prompt and accurate supply of parts to the workshop
  • Professionally handle any customer complaints and escalate as necessary
  • Promote a clean, safe and tidy working environment
  • Able to work well on their own and part of a team
  • Picking parts

Experience and skills:

  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Able to work well on their own and part of a team
  • Previous experience preferrable
  • full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills

Hours: 40 hrs per week, 8am - 4.30 with half hour lunch break

Main duties include:

  • Requirement to drive, deliver and collect products as required
  • Picking parts for van drivers/customers
  • Occasional unloading and checking returns

Experience and skills:

  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Able to work well on their own and part of a team
  • Previous experience preferrable
  • full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills


Sales - Van and Truck

Role information: Competitive salary plus (unlimited) commission and bonuses. 25 days holiday per year. Company vehicle plus laptop, fuel card, and mobile provided.
