Rygor Enhances Dedicated Van Business Development Team

Local Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealer group, Rygor Commercials, is delighted to announce the promotion of one of its van sales managers to group van business development manager.

Dominic Ilbury, who was previously van sales manager at the company’s Oxford branch will head up Rygor’s van business development team, overseeing four team members who together boast years of experience in the commercial vehicle industry.

Dawn Smith has been in her business development role at the company for the past year, introducing many new customers to the Mercedes-Benz brand. Paul Naylor has a background in commercial vehicle sales and joined Rygor in 2015 as van sales executive at its Oxford branch. Bill Kingsmill will be utilising his more than 20 years of experience as fleet sales manager at Rygor, in his new business development manager role and Andrea Rigby-Carnell joined Rygor at the end of 2017 and has worked with vehicles her whole career and commercial vehicles in her most recent roles.

Dominic has a wealth of experience of the Mercedes-Benz brand, starting his career through the manufacturer’s management scheme. Dominic joined Rygor three years ago and utilised his training and experience to develop the van sales manager role at Rygor Oxford.

Dominic said: “I am delighted to be heading up Rygor’s enhanced van business development team. Having a knowledgeable and committed van business development team allows us to build trusting and effective relationships with our customers. Being a dedicated point of contact means customers know that they can rely on us.”

Rob Thrift, Rygor group van sales manager, said: “This new team within the van division at Rygor will offer our customers a tailored and dedicated sales experience. The team will utilise its experience of the industry to work with our customers and gain a real understanding of what is important to them and their fleet.

“Dominic has shown true passion and dedication to his branch sales manager role over the past three years. There is no doubt in my mind that he will perform exceptionally in his new position and lead his team of van business development managers to continued success,” Rob added.
