The Mayor of London's new scrappage scheme for vans and minibuses is helping to clear London's air. It supports eligible sole traders, micro businesses and charities to replace polluting vehicles that don't meet the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) emissions standards.

Grant payment options

The van scrappage scheme offers the following options:

  • Scrap a van - £7,000
  • Scrap a van and replace with an electric van - £9,500

If your vehicle is ULEZ non-compliant you can apply for funds of up to £9,500 to scrap a van and to put towards the cost of a cleaner vehicle. So why not upgrade your van to a new Mercedes-Benz electric van.
