Transport for London (TFL) has announced that as of Monday 23 March 2020 all road user charge schemes are to be temporarily suspended. This is to ensure that all critical workers are able to travel as they wish in these unprecidented times.
Including the Congestion Charge Zone (CCZ), Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and Zero Emission one (ZEZ), no charges are in operation until further notice.
For some critical workers, in the current circumstances, driving to work will be the simplest option, which is why the charges have been lifted.
On Monday 8 th April 2019, the Ultra-Low Emission Zone came into force in Central London, replacing the existing Congestion Charge Zone (CCG). The Mayor of London also recently announced a supporting scrappage scheme to help support micro businesses and charities throughout the introduction of ULEZ. To find out more about this scheme, read our latest blog post here.
Rygor Commercials are supporting the scrappage scheme and enhancing this with an exclusive offer for our customers.
New and existing customers using the scrappage scheme can get a brand new Vito 111 Long van for just £37.50* per week with a VAT-only deposit of £3,457.60, including road fund license and first registration fee. That’s the same cost as driving into London three times a week!
