At Rygor, building trusted and long-term relationships with our customers is truly at the core of everything we do, just ask Phill Barwise at Penta Foods.

“We have had a relationship with Rygor (Reading) for more than six years now. They source all our new vehicles (via MBFS) and supply the repair and maintenance that supports those vehicles as well.

“At the time we consulted Rygor, we were in the market for a ‘one stop shop’ supplier that we could rely on for all our smaller commercial vehicles and the larger VOSA regulated equipment. We had outgrown our existing maintenance provider and needed a more ‘professional’ approach.

“We were staggered by the immediate feeling of assurance that Rygor could provide. The Dealer Principle and Managing Director both visited us and committed to make it work. The pricing was a fraction of our existing supplier, and the service was of a level you would expect from Mercedes Benz, all with MB parts as well. We couldn’t believe our luck.

“This instant professionalism drew us to Rygor, so much so, that we have another MB dealership only three miles from us, yet we chose to commit to Rygor (Reading) who are a 35 minute drive away. Fast forward six years and we have such a deep rooted relationship now that most of the management and staff are friends.

“Our fleet has grown from 20 vehicles to 60+ across two depots and we feel the relationship and service can handle more comfortably. Nothing is too much hassle, hurdles are overcome smoothly and without panic, and our prerogative as a customer to be demanding on occasions is absorbed and dealt with calmly!

“On an operational level, we have gone from public hearing with VOSA to a bright green in terms of OCRS scoring and that has taken hard work and selfless dedication from both the transport team at Penta and Rygor, hand in hand, sometimes working 24 hours to get the job done.

“To conclude, we feel proud of our relationship with Rygor and all is done with a smile on our faces, knowing we can trust each other. On this occasion, it is definitely safe to say that it works for all your eggs to be in one basket! Thank you Rygor and may this continue for many more years to come.” – Phill Barwise, Penta Foods.
