Team Rygor’s fundraising progress
We kicked off (excused the pun) our fundraising with Rygor’s second annual charity inter-branch football tournament, won by our Heathrow team! We also celebrated the launch of our new, flagship branch in Gloucester with a charity raffle, which saw our guests win some brilliant Bath Rugby and Mercedes-Benz prizes!
In December, our team collected and donated more than 90 selection boxes for the Children at James Hopkins Trust and also donated a hamper of pet food to Bath Cats & Dogs Home.
Not wanting to miss a beat in the New Year, this weekend some of our team will be out in Wiltshire and Somerset collecting Christmas Trees from residents in the local community, on behalf of Dorothy House Hospice Care’s recycling scheme.
So, what else are we planning for the rest of our fundraising year? Some brave team members are already breaking in their walking boots in anticipation of the Three Peaks Challenge at the end of June. What’s more we will be collecting Easter Eggs, for the JHT Easter Egg Hunt, as well as quiz nights, bake sales and jeans days!
We are aiming to raise at least £6,000 for our charities by the beginning of July. If you would like to donate to our Charities of the Year, you can do so, by clicking here.
