Team Rygor gets into gear for the Bath Rugby Foundation Superstars Challenge

Monday 11th January 2016

2016-01-09 12.04.12

Last weekend, Team Rygor revved into action to take part in the annual Bath Rugby Foundation Superstars Challenge!

On Saturday, Sales Director John Keogh, Fleet Sales Executive James Dallard, Accounts Team Member Lisa Drake, Truck Sales Executive David Latham and Finance Director Martyn Morant, were joined by Bath Rugby Superstar, Max Clark…and the team meant business!

After huge successes in the rowing challenge, bleep test and basketball challenge (not to mention a few new records set too) out of the nine teams which competed, Team Rygor finished in an incredible second place with 92 points!

As the Commercial Vehicle supplier to Bath Rugby we have built a strong relationship with both the team and the Foundation over many years, and are thrilled to have taken part in this fantastic event again this year, which is for such a worthwhile cause. The event has raised more than £5,000 so far which the Foundation will use to fund its inclusive after school clubs programme – aimed at children with special educational needs. The project uses rugby to develop fundamental movements such as agility, balance and co-ordination – but more importantly, helps build confidence, and develop social skills.

There is still time to donate! If you would like to show your support for our team and the Foundation, please donate by visiting the Virgin Money Giving Page.
