Managing Director Celebrates Long Service with his Team

Wednesday 28th February 2018

L to R: Rygor Owner Directors, Graham Drake and Paul Reed with Tim Stacey, Managing Director

Tim Stacey, Managing Director at Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealer Group, Rygor, is celebrating 25 years at the company this year and 10 years as MD.

Tim joined his team members this month at The Manor Hotel in Castle Combe for the company’s annual long service recognition lunch, which throws the spotlight on Rygor employees who have been with the company more than 10 years.

In 2017, Rygor introduced long service recognition lunches, where team members who have achieved five-year milestones with the Rygor business are invited to join Directors to celebrate their long service and dedication. The company puts on these small, luxury lunches to allow guests the chance to talk one on one with the Board and colleagues from other branches across the Rygor Group.

February saw 15 Rygor team members join the Rygor Board of Directors for one of these celebratory lunches, where the team was able to find out more about the business and its history. They also had the opportunity to view a video dedicated to the them, with special messages from colleagues.

Paul Reed, Owner Director at Rygor, said: “Congratulations to our incredible team members who have been recognised for their long service this year and especially to mine and Graham’s business partner, Tim. Not only has he been a fantastic business partner, but he’s a really great friend. It has been a brilliant 10 years owning the business together – he’s an absolute superstar, and not only for the Rygor business, but the Mercedes-Benz network too.”

Tim Stacey, said: “We introduced our long service recognition lunches to shine the spotlight on our phenomenal team members and show them how valued they are. Every member of Team Rygor brings something unique and respected to the business and they really are the lifeline of the company. I have always loved and been passionate about the Rygor business and was delighted to be able to celebrate my own longevity at the company with my fantastic colleagues. We are already looking forward to next year’s special event!”
