Great Customer Relationships at the heart of Rygor Gloucester’s first truck handover
So taken were Sue and Malcom Stevens from MR & S Stevens Transport with the Mercedes-Benz Actros after seeing it at a show several years ago, that they came away determined to add one of the most prestigious trucks on the market to their fleet.
Working with local Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Dealer group, Rygor, the couple procured an Actros on a two-year lease. Thrilled with its fuel efficiency, comfort and manoeuvrability, they chose without question to extend the lease at the end of the initial term.
Fast forward to today and Mr and Mrs Stevens are delighted to have taken home another Mercedes-Benz truck, this time an Approved Used 2545LS GigaSpace Actros from Rygor’s new flagship branch in Gloucester.
Sue Stevens said: “We were invited to Rygor Gloucester’s open day in September, at which my husband sat in the Actros and said straight away that he wanted it and was going to buy it as a retirement gift to himself! He loved the vehicle so much that even though he has stepped away from day to day activity at the company, he still thought our drivers would enjoy the vehicle and the business would benefit from it.”
Sue continued: “The new branch is totally fantastic and very modern. It is so lovely and very professional, which is what you want and expect from a Mercedes-Benz dealership. It’s also conveniently located just off the motorway, which is a real plus. Everyone is so helpful; they have made the whole process of purchasing the truck incredibly easy. I couldn’t believe how simple it was to arrange the Mercedes-Benz Financial Services funding on the vehicle too; it was no hassle whatsoever, I couldn’t fault it.”
The couple took out a Mercedes-Benz Repair and Maintenance Contract on the truck to help manage cashflow and avoid unexpected upkeep costs. Sue said: “When I looked through what was covered under the R&M package I couldn’t quite believe it…the benefits are fantastic! Not only does it mean that we are covered for most repairs excluding tyres, but we also know that when our trucks are in for inspection, if any additional work is needed the team at Rygor don’t have to wait for approval from us but can just get on with it, saving so much time. It gives us such peace of mind that we would be silly not to have taken it out.”
