Changes to CPC Legislation

Monday 21st April 2014

CPC is a legal requirement for everyone operating an LGV vehicle over 3.5 tonnes. Drivers must undertake 35 hours of training every five years in order to meet the CPC requirement to ensure their licence is up to date.

Can you afford not to update your licence?

After September 9th 2014 anyone found to be driving without completing 35 hours training, will receive an automatic £1,000 fine and be unable to drive a vehicle until the training has been completed.

Rygor – here to help.

At Rygor, our CPC training department is here to help you meet the new criteria and ensure you and your business stay on the road. The additional hours required to be fully qualified consist of five, seven hour courses, which must be completed on a non-work related basis before 9th September.

If you have purchased a new or used truck from Rygor in the last 12 months, you may be eligible for a CPC voucher entitling you to 5 day’s free training. Our CPC team has more than 30 years experience in the industry, making it the right choice to keep your business moving forward and your drivers on the road.

Don’t miss the deadline! Contact Guy Danvers today on 07880 030 462 for more information and to book on the course or email us info@rygor.co.uk
