Apprentices Set To Succeed With Rygor
On Thursday 29th August, it was with an air of anticipation and excitement that eight young adults walked through the doors of Rygor Commercials headquarters in Westbury, Wiltshire.
Rygor Commercials is proud to invest in the training of young people through the three-year (plus fourth year improver) Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship Programme and the Mercedes-Benz Parts Apprenticeship Programme. With hard work and ambition, these young apprentices will learn the skills to succeed in the commercial vehicle industry.
In Rygor, this year’s cohort joins the ranks of one of the country’s leading Mercedes-Benz vehicle commercial Dealer groups and will soon be providing award winning service to customers.
New Rygor technical apprentice, David Stockford said: “I was a car mechanic for a year and wanted a new opportunity. Rygor has a great reputation and has knowledgeable and friendly staff”
Shay Dite, first year parts apprentice said: “My family have always worked in the motor industry. I started working as an electrician but wanted to do something that I enjoy more. I’m looking forward to a new challenge and do to doing something different.”
Lyn Pascoe, Rygor HR Manager, said: “It is an exciting time here at Rygor when we welcome our new intake of apprentices. Apprenticeships are a great way for young people to learn a life-long skill, whilst being paid. It is really important to me and the team here at Rygor that we help nurture these talented young individuals, to get the most out of their training.”
