Rygor’s Charities of the Year initiative was set up to enable the company’s team members to nominate and vote to support charities which benefit some of the local communities which the company calls home. In 2018 Rygor was fundraising for Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Camp Mohawk and Shooting Star Chase through a variety of events, including: a 60-mile bike ride, quiz nights, a showroom cycle challenge, Easter egg donations, cake sales and an inter-branch football tournament, to name a few.

Tim Stacey, Rygor managing director, said: “It has been extremely rewarding to have been able to focus our fundraising efforts on three incredibly worthwhile charities over the past 12 months. Our team always looks to give back to the local communities which our business calls home and fundraising for local charities is an important way to do this. I would like to say a big well done to all of our team members who got involved in our charity fundraising events throughout 2018.”

Wiltshire Air Ambulance partnerships coordinator Valerie Whistler, said: “We’re very grateful for the support we’ve had from Rygor in the past 12 months. It was great to welcome members of the Rygor team to our airbase in Semington as they kindly passed over their donation of £2,500.”
Alex Rennie, corporate relationship manager at Shooting Star Chase, said: “A massive thank you to everyone at Rygor for raising much needed funds and awareness for the work we do at Shooting Star Chase. With two children’s hospices and a hospice at home service we rely on the generosity of the general public and local companies like Rygor.”
Annabel Hill, fundraiser, Camp Mohawk said: “Amazing fundraising, plus Rygor staff also helped throughout the year by providing Easter Eggs and gifts for Santa’s Grotto, which enables us to provide fun activities for children with special needs, who often miss out on seasonal treats. Huge thanks to everyone for their support!”
